ENROLLMENT
Applications are considered on a first come first served basis. A non-refundable application fee of $50 needs to accompany the registration forms. This fee will place your child on the class waiting list.
Children are listed in order of receipt of the application fee. Your child is not considered enrolled until you pay the enrollment fee equal to one month’s tuition. Messiah Lutheran Church members and currently enrolled children have enrollment priority.
The enrollment fee equal to one month’s tuition is due by May 1. This fee will enroll your child into our program. This fee is non-refundable; however if your child is still enrolled in our program the following May, we will credit this fee as your May tuition payment. If you remove your child from our program before May, this fee is not refundable.
Messiah Lutheran Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of color, race, religion, national, or ethnic origin in the administration of rights, privileges, program and activities generally available to students at the school.
All children must have a copy of their official birth certificate on file at the school. We are required by law to notify local law enforcement if proof of a child’s identity is not submitted within 30 days of enrollment. Children must have a completed, doctor signed, State of Illinois physical form and immunization record on file at school. Proof of a doctor’s appointment for the purpose of fulfilling the requirement will be accepted as a valid substitute for compliance up to a maximum of 30 days past the original deadline. Children must have a lead test, TB test, Varicella, and Hepatitis B series or a note from the doctor indicating these are not indicated. Physicals are good for two years.
Parents are required to notify the preschool at least two weeks in advance if you remove your child from the preschool class. This time is necessary so that a child on the waiting list may be added to the class. Parents are obligated to pay tuition until such notice has been given and the two weeks has passed.
